The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is searching for a practiced communications professional to help drive integrated marketing communications efforts for NYPA and the New York State Canal Corporation. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with proven experience in facets of marketing and communication. Responsible for a variety of internal and external marketing communications plans and tactics, including developing strategy, content and materials. We are looking for a collaborative, team-player who excels in forging consensus, creating strong professional relationships with peers and leaders across New York State and drives process and planning that lead to strong end products. Works collaboratively with peers across the Corporate Communications team, including employee/executive communications, media relations, digital and social media, creative services, and others. This role will help advance the NYPA and Canals story and strengthen and protect their reputation via thought leadership programs and communications events and activities. #LI-CJ1
Up to 10% travel primarily within NY State
The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is: $108,490-$149,170. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
