Job Overview:

The primary function of the Radiology Technologist is to perform quality diagnostic x-ray exams to all patient populations of the hospital. X-ray exams are done in the X-ray Department, portably through-out the facility and in the OR.

Qualifications:

Required:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Graduate from an acreditted Radiologic Technologist program
• Proficient in using PACS and CR systems

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• NJCXT and ARRT

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working 4x10 hour shifts, 10pm-8am (Night Shift Differential)
• Week days and rotate on alternate weekends
• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Performs CR, DR, and Portable x-ray exams
• Perform data entry to EMR to track and charge exams
• Other departmental duties as assigned
