The anticipated salary range for this role is between $78,000.00and $136,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be part of the IAM Architectural Solutions and Innovations function within SMBC. The Engineer will work on implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting IAM related components and solutions that pertain to SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, IDaaS (collectively called cloud). The developed solutions will adhere to the core principles of Zero-Trust, Just-In-Time and Just-Enough-Access but balance it with a frictionless experience for end users and applications. The ideal candidate must have experience with setting up IAM components in cloud and in Hybrid environments.
* The Engineer will help implement and maintain Centrify/Delinea/CyberArk based solutions for Linux and PAM.
* Help with migration of legacy IAM solutions to modern cloud-based solutions or migrate to cloud.
* Develop automation program/scripts that help with cloud adoption.
* Handle multiple requirements and projects
* Understand IAM products and protocols
* Champion the developed IAM solutions and ensure compliance with all applicable SMBC policies
* Manage and maintain IAM solutions for Linux on-prem and in the cloud
* Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of Federation protocols (specifically SAML, Openid/Oauth)
* Hands-on experience with Centrify/Delinea, CyberArk
* Knowledge of Directories (LDAP) and Kerberos
* Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization and Access Management flows
* Experience in Powershell or shell scripting
* Code management in GIT and experience with DevOps processes
* Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, HTTP, Kerberos, PKI, JSON, JWT, Webservices
* Knowledge of IAM and security principles like Federation, RBAC, PBAC, MFA, encryption, PKI
* Excellent communication skills
Education/Certification
* Bachelor's (Computer Science preferred)
* Certification - CISSP, cloud or other Security related is a plus
