What You Get to Do:

In collaboration with the EPIC business unit, you will develop a wide range of B2B marketing programs to create awareness, acquire new customers, and generate leads for the business. Marketing programs will include advertising and sales promotion, tradeshows, content development, messaging and positioning, and collateral creation. You will work closely with the shared services marketing team, digital, events, creatives services, and well as with the EPIC sales teams, product teams, finance, procurement, and legal to develop multi-channel marketing programs. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing at Panasonic Connect and the business unit leadership team to align the marketing strategy, tactics, and you will oversee implementation.

What You Will Get to Do:

Develop and manage marketing plans to drive engagement, awareness, and sales to support the EPIC business and Panasonic Connect.

  • Apply best practices in marketing and advertising to develop effective marketing communications.
  • Create impactful media messaging, product collateral and other sales materials.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted industry and solution specific messages.
  • Own the tradeshow and events roadmap, align support needs and priorities with the sales team and marketing events teams.

Develop and execute on messaging for EPIC vertical solutions strategy, identifying new ways to approach the market and expand existing contacts and engagements in this industry.

  • Serve as an internal advocate for customer needs; ensuring broad awareness of, and empathy for, customer pain points.
  • Create compelling sales and marketing content to drive engagement, e.g. case studies, thought leadership content, videos, ad creative.
  • Develop creative briefs for new marketing assets and partner with copywriting, design, and video teams to oversee reviews, approval, and execution.
  • Manage implementation of advertising, sponsorship, and PR activities.
  • Support go to market vertical messaging for new products.

Track the marketing budget that supports all marketing operating expense related to marketing plan development. Help onboard vendors, ensure payment to vendors, and work closely with procurement and finance teams.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, MBA preferred.
  • 5 to 7 yrs. of B2B marketing and content development experience with a proven track record of delivering business results.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing concepts and best practices, as well as project management skills.
  • Experience in solution marketing to enterprise or public vertical markets and, or enterprise hardware, electronics, and technology.

  • B2B and Market Understanding. Has proven ability to understand business needs, unearth new insights, and translate into successful market awareness and customer demand.
  • Creative thinking ability to work through situations using out of the box thinking to solve problems.

Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data and continually evolve strategies based on key learning.

Communications

  • Key communications contacts, internal and external, and level of persuasion required
  • Ability to effectively lead a team of diverse cross- functional interests to achieve desired business objectives and goals.
  • Ability to work, organize, and be effective in a complex matrix organization.
  • Effective and professional speaker at including press events, tradeshows, partners events, and internal meetings.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization

What We Offer:
The salary range of $75,000- 95,000 just one component of Panasonic Connect's total
package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, and
experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
