Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Wax Inspector to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Afternoon position are Monday to Friday 2:30PM-10PM. Training on Day Shift M-F 6:30A - 2:30P
New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $21.67; After 12 Months: $24.22

* Perform subassembly of wax setups.
* Inspect and make repairs to wax patterns using appropriate tools.
* Ability to read and interpret job instructions.

* Review product non-conformances as part of continuous improvement within the scope of this job description.
* Do Core Prep.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Inspect and correct imperfections on materials with very low strength (wax patterns and cores). Improper handling results in high scrap rates.
* Must be flexible. Job duties range from wax inspection to core prep, filling and parts and helix attachment.
* Able to fabricate patterns to match samples or instructions consistently.
* Ability to read and interpret job instructions and job samples.
* Soft handling of patterns and cores, to perform task without disturbing original shape of unfinished product.
* Ability to work well with others in a flow line type work environment.
