THE OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Assistant Professor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science centers working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Assistant Professor of Pediatric Immunology (in Pediatrics) at CUMC research project focuses in the field of immune genetic rare diseases, the goal of this project is to identify patients with mutations that cause rare diseases of the immune system in order to be able to develop treatments for those rare conditions and other immune related diseases, such as viral infections.
