Sales Analyst

Luxury Sales Division - New York, NY

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.

We're looking for a Sales Analyst to join our Luxury Channel Sell In team. This role will support a number of key accounts and enable the Luxury Channel to further strengthen our portfolio by taking a deep dive into data and actioning the results to drive net and retails sales growth. This role reports into the Senior Business Sales Manager and will closely work with our brand marketing, customer service, visual merchandising and sales ops teams located in our New York offices. You will get to work within the upscale Luxury channel, build awareness of the needs of key customers and disrupt the beauty market.

In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Support Senior Business Sales Manager in driving sales, to ensure monthly and annual sales targets are delivered, through accurately entering forecasts each month, purchase order tracking, inventory management, and more
  • Analyze sales results at the brand, door, and SKU level to ensure sufficient selling productivity; compile monthly analysis, insights and key findings to help drive and improve sales
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with key retailers through daily communication, participation in weekly sales meetings and assistance with seasonal Market appointments
  • Track daily purchase orders and work collaboratively with customer service and retail buyers to ensure accuracy
  • Partner with brand marketing, sales ops, customer service and retail buying teams to execute new launch support; manage new item information files and ensure accurate information; ownership and creation of seasonal innovation tracker and nonsalable support tools tracker
  • Manage all visual merchandising requests and seasonal activation calendars for key accounts

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Possess organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Desire to work in a strong team environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex and changing environment
  • Capacity to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced excel and power point skills required

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Beauty experience is a strong plus
