Your Role

Gensler has a successful track record of partnering with like-minded institutions, organizations, and associations whose shared mission and purpose enable us to drive meaningful impact across our industry and throughout the built environment. We are looking to expand our global marketing and communications team with a Strategic Partnerships Manager who will spearhead our approach to bringing our partnerships to life by championing the firm, our brand reputation, the Gensler Research Institute, and the enrichment of our people. Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing, this role will have a high degree of sophistication and serve as a partner with internal stakeholders and trusted advisor to executive leadership.

**this position is onsite 5 days a week**

What You Will Do

  • Champion and serve as the single point of contact for existing, contracted partnerships, such as Urban Land Institute (ULI) and CoreNet, establishing trusted relationships with our account teams and thinking of long-term plans for the future

  • Develop the strategic vision for our partnership approach, and identify new opportunities for Gensler and our partners to leverage our firm strengths, such as the Gensler Research Institute, our robust thought leadership program, and our subject matter expertise

  • Partner with executive communications, marketing, social media, and editorial teams to bring partnerships to life through compelling messaging and content strategy

  • Manage the day-to-day coordination of our partnerships, including overseeing our annual budget and operationalizing how we execute on our contracts

  • Partner with Gensler leaders in organizing and delivering event activations, such as the key ULI global events, as well as the CoreNet global summit

  • Collaborate with appropriate internal leaders on partner events, research, thought leadership, and initiatives that support the firm's marketing and communications goals

  • Develop KPIs, measure, and analyze partnership results to determine ROI

Your Qualifications

  • At least 15+ years with direct, relevant experiences, including comprehensive experience as a communications/business leader

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, business, or marketing

  • Experience managing large budgets, working with finance teams to forecast consistently in a fiscal year

  • Broad knowledge of private-public partnerships, higher educational structures, and the NGO landscape

  • Strong knowledge of the real estate development industry and its leading organizations

  • Track record managing external relationships and serving as the point of contact for a brand or global organization

  • Knowledge of corporate communications, philanthropy, and stakeholder engagement

  • Exceptional communications skills

**Los Angeles: the compensation range is $122k-$136k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent upon relevant experience.

**New York: the compensation range is $113k-126k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent upon relevant experience.

**San Francisco: the compensation range is $136k-151k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent upon relevant experience.
