Job Description

The Product Operations team supports the end-to-end product lifecycle from SKU creation and maintenance through eCommerce data management and product launch through the development and automation of business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain all SKUs designed by West Elm and Dropship vendors
  • Partner with cross-brand teams to execute changes to SKU level data including pricing, costing, descriptions, product hierarchy, fulfillment information, and product attribute flags
  • Communicate prioritization of SKU creation and SKU maintenance requests between cross functional teams, and maintain status of open issues
  • Lead cross-functional projects, including system upgrades, by having a holistic view of the product lifecycle and merchandising systems
  • Recommend changes to business process and reporting to reduce errors and streamline workload of the team
  • Serve as operational support to the Merchandising team to help ensure their assortment is accurately managed across all systems
  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Product Development, Vendors, Production, and Site Operations teams to resolve any website or retail store issues related to SKU data
  • Publish weekly and ad hoc reporting on product information data and seasonal product launches
  • Serve as subject matter expert and key contact for West Elm systems, SKU creation, and SKU maintenance
  • Collaborate with the product operations team with a true problem-solving mentality to reimagine cross-functional processes
  • Utilize Excel and QlikSense to ensure integrity of item master data by performing audits and data scrubs to identify and resolve data discrepancies

Criteria:

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, or eCommerce Operations
  • Comfortable with large sets of data and complex systems landscapes
  • Strong critical thinking, time management, project management, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
  • Business acumen, analytical thinking, and technical skills
  • College degree preferred
  • This role requires being onsite in the New York office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
