We are looking for a Computation Specialist to join the New York office Design Technology Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working in a highly collaborative and creative environment.


What You Will Do

  • Consult project teams on design and delivery workflows utilizing multiple digital design technology and platforms
  • Help teams integrate computational design processes in projects
  • Responsible for delivering computational design solutions
  • Educate staff to learn computational design software platforms, design process and design management
  • Document case studies to demonstrate the value of computational design
  • Develop computational design tools for spatial analytics and generative design

Your Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture and 5+ years of relevant experience as an architectural designer or job captain in either architectural and interior projects
  • Experience in architectural practice with management experience in design and document production
  • Experience resolving complex technical and design issues
  • Knowledge in interoperable workflow particularly between Rhino and Revit
  • Proficiency with Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Revit API, Python, C#, Processing is a plus
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
  • Have both strong design and technical skills
  • Have strong abilities to connect new technology with the needs of architectural design
  • Must have architectural practice experience. Licensed architect preferred

**The base salary will be estimated between 85k-110k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
