Job/Internship Description

Moffatt & Nichol is actively seeking a Human Resources Intern to work in our Long Beach office. The Human Resources Intern will support our Human Resources Team throughout the summer.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the company-wide health tracking system.
  • Conduct Employee engagement surveys, analysis and presents information
  • Support the Total Rewards Manager with reporting and benefits presentations
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts
  • Assist with day to day tasks including data processing and answering general HR questions
  • Attend HR Team, office and/or company-wide meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years completed towards a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related
  • Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) candidates preferred
  • Intermediate to advance skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Survey Monkey
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Physical requirements:

Sit for long periods of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
